CTTC is a 1-year vocational / teacher training program to train individuals to become computer teachers or IT trainers.
It covers both technical computer knowledge (fundamentals, programming, web design, office tools) and pedagogical skills (methods of teaching, child psychology, lesson planning).
After completing the course, participants are equipped to take on roles such as: school computer teacher, lab assistant, computer operator, or IT faculty in training centers.
The course typically has a theory + practical structure: lots of hands-on computer work + teaching practice.
Some institutes also include project work as part of the assessment.
Computer Fundamentals Basic concepts of computers, hardware, software.
Operating Systems Windows OS (various versions) and operating system concepts.
MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access etc.
Internet & Email Basics of internet, email usage, web browsing.
Programming Languages like C, C++, sometimes Visual Basic.
Web Design HTML (and sometimes DHTML / JavaScript in some versions)
Accounting Software Using tools like Tally in some versions.
Pedagogy / Methods of Teaching Methods of teaching IT, classroom management, lesson planning. Child Psychology / Personality Development Understanding children, how they learn, building personality for teachers. DTP / Desktop Publishing In some courses (depending on the institute), DTP tools like PageMaker, InDesign. Teaching Practice / Teaching Aids Preparing teaching aids, doing in-house teaching practice.
Project A project is often required to apply knowledge to practical problems.
